		<description>I actually hadn&#039;t read Mike&#039;s commentary on fashion week until you made your comment on my blog.

I think it&#039;s fair.  There was this expectation that for some reason Seoul Fashion Week would be overwhelmed by foreign press.  Let me tell you, had they been overwhelmed they would have gotten skewwered as it was tragically disorganized and the Koreans in charge at SETEC were displaying the worst of haughtiness and self-importance.

However, I also told Mike as I&#039;m sure I told you and others to get to the other venues.  That&#039;s where fashion week was hopping.  I stayed pretty much stritctly at Daily Projects but there were things at COEX and De Vill (too lazy to look up the full name).  SETEC was pretty much empty most of the time I was there.  It picked up towards the end but it still didn&#039;t have the good and exciting buzz of Seoul Fashion Week F/W 08.

There is some good talent.  I just hope that South Korea figures out how to market that talent because the English daily newspapers barely touched it.</description>
